01 / Solar solutions
Four ways we help you make a better energy decision.
Commercial or residential, new system or an existing one that is under-performing — every job starts with the bill and the load, not a panel count.
Commercial solar
30 kW to 1 MW rooftop PV, carpark solar and battery storage engineered around your load profile and DNSP limits.
Residential solar
5 kW to 13 kW home systems with battery-ready inverters, installed and commissioned by our own accredited electricians.
Inspection & O&M
Independent system inspections, panel cleaning, bird proofing, inverter repair and maintenance contracts for existing arrays.
Battery & EV charging
Tesla Powerwall 3, Sigenergy, Enphase IQ 5P and EV charging for homes, strata and commercial sites.
02 / Our products
We only install what we'd put on our own roof.
A short list of manufacturers with Australian support offices, proven warranty service and hardware we have commissioned ourselves.

03 / Why Fordan
Engineers who put their name on the switchboard.
-
01
Designed by engineers, not salespeople.
Every proposal starts with 12 months of interval data, the DNSP export limit and a load profile — not a panel count.
-
02
Installed by the people who designed it.
Our SAA-accredited electricians install, test and commission the work, so the team that modelled the yield is the team accountable for it.
-
03
Compliant, documented, warranted.
AS/NZS 5033, 4777 and 5139 design, full commissioning documentation and a workmanship warranty backed by a NSW-licensed electrical contractor.

- Workmanship warranty

04 / How it works
From first call to switched-on in about six weeks.
One contractor from the first site visit to commissioning. No handovers between a sales company, a designer and a subcontracted crew.
Site & bill review
We read 12 months of interval data, walk the roof and switchboard, and check the DNSP export limit before anything is drawn.
You get: A load profile and a clear go / no-go call within a week.
Engineered proposal
Modelled yield, equipment schedule, single-line diagram and a fixed price with finance options set out side by side.
You get: A proposal you can put in front of the board.
Approvals & DNSP
We lodge the connection application, manage the network and council conditions and order equipment against the approved design.
You get: Connection approval and a locked-in install date.
Install & commission
Our own electricians install, test to AS/NZS 5033 and 4777, commission the system and hand over the documentation pack.
You get: A switched-on system, compliance certificate and monitoring login.
Fixed price. One contractor. Six weeks.
Send the bill and we start step one this week.

Trusted by Sydney businesses and homeowners.
Reviews are pulled from our Google Business Profile and shown unedited.
“Fordan modelled our load before quoting anything. First-year yield has tracked within two per cent of the proposal and the DNSP paperwork was handled without us chasing anyone.”
“Clean install, tidy switchboard and a proper handover. The Powerwall carried the house through two outages in the first year exactly as they said it would.”
“The only installer who asked for our interval data before talking about panels. Straightforward advice on the battery size, no upsell, and the numbers held up.”

Have a roof, a bill or a tender?
Send us the bill or the tender pack. An engineer reviews it and comes back with numbers, not a sales pitch — usually within one business day.
